Working Student Public Health * (#ekdk)

We are looking for a working student with a background or interest in public health to support our Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) programmes starting October 1, 2026.

The position is initially limited to 12 months with a maximum of 19.5 h;

This position is only filled locally with contractual conditions of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities

• Support NTD data management
• Analyze programme data
• Prepare and author reports on findings
• Prepare and conduct background research and/or literature reviews on topic identified by the NTD team
• Prepare and develop program materials specified by the project work plan
• Assist in creating technical materials for conferences, meetings, and events
• Perform other duties as assigned

These are your qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a graduate student in a relevant academic program preferably in public health, public policy, health care, information management in health care, data science, health economics or a combination of biological and social science disciplines with an interest in public health
• Strong affinity for data and analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written), French skills desired
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to exercise sound judgment
• Identification with Christian values and the mandate of CBM
